The artist, who was born in 1970, challenges the boundaries of traditional sculpture with his unconventional works.<\/p>\n<p>For his work &#8216;Volkswagenball&#8217;, Fisk transformed an iconic 1960s Volkswagen van into a ball, complete with part of the front, one seat, steering wheel, headlights, and instantly-recognisable Volkswagen logo. Not only is &#8216;Volkswagenball&#8217; a visual spectacle, it encourages self-reflection and forces you to think about consumerism, mobility, and the role of cars in our society.<\/p>\n<p>With his <em>spheres,<\/em> Fisk wants to stimulate you to think about the symbolism of ordinary objects. By simplifying the object, distilling it into an abstract symbol, the question arises as to what the true essence of the object is.
