During 24 Hours South on 10 October, you can discover familiar places from a new perspective. There is also something special to experience at Gelderlandplein: a guided tour of the artworks that make the shopping centre a surprising destination for art lovers.

Did you know that there are 19 artworks to discover in and around the shopping centre? During a guided tour with an art expert, you’ll hear the stories behind remarkable works such as Studio Job’s bronze bench Worn, street artist Frankey’s cheerful Bear with Me, and the Companion figure from KAWS’ Better Knowing.

Explore with an art expert

Gelderlandplein is more than just a place to shop. It is also a unique art destination. No fewer than 19 artworks by renowned international artists can be admired in and around the shopping centre. Together, they form a surprising exhibition that is accessible to everyone.

An art expert will guide you past artworks you may have seen many times before, but perhaps never truly discovered. Think of Studio Job’s bronze bench Worn, Frankey’s cheerful Bear with Me, and the distinctive X-shaped eyes of KAWS’ Better Knowing. Discover the stories behind the artworks and learn more about the artists who created them. The tour is available at two different times, and everyone aged 10 and over is welcome to join.
